Hood River, Oregon

In Hood River, Oregon farm workers and wind surfers share the grocery stores with creative business people and tourists. In 1805, the first famous tourists, Lewis & Clark, recognized the potential for wind surfing in Columbia River Gorge, noting, “Wind hard from the West all last night and this morning.” On their return trip, Lewis wrote, “The wind blew so violently this morning that we were obliged to unlode our perogues and canoes, soon after which they filled with water.”

Founders incorporated the city in 1895, followed by Hood River County in 1989. As the county seat, Hood River, Oregon hosts the state circuit court, with the address of 309 State St., Hood River, Oregon 97031. The Hood River City Code is found at: http://ci.hood-river.or.us/pageview.aspx?id=18298

I love Hood River. I visit frequently, enjoying the coffee shops, art center and galleries, and just hanging out on my way to and from my vacation home in Trout Lake, Washington, at the foot of Mt. Adams. I keep telling myself I should sell my Portland & Trout Lake homes and combine them into one place in Hood River.

That’s why I’m happy to represent people in Hood River, Mosier, Parkdale, The Dalles and the whole area. I’m pleased to meet you in your home. (In fact, I prefer it, even for clients in the Portland Metro area.) So, please feel free to call me if you need legal advice or an attorney to file a lawsuit. The first phone consultation is free, so pick up the phone. You will reach me, not some paralegal or junior lawyer.
