Product Liability
(Injury from dangerous or defective products.)
Oregon law makes those who manufacture, sell, and lease dangerous products responsible to pay for the injuries or damages caused by the bad products. Even a perfectly manufactured product can be dangerous if the seller failed to properly instruct in the use of the product or provide sufficient warnings. Products can also be dangerous because of a flawed design, or problems arising because of testing, manufacturing, inspection or other reasons.
Examples of product liability cases would include an off-road bicycle that breaks under the stress of riding on trails, a crib with pinch points that can strangle a baby, or baby carriers that allow the baby to slip out and fall.
I've helped families hurt by dangerous products, and I would be pleased to discuss the facts of your case with you.
